Utah

Most of the states National Parks and Monuments offer insane views and amazing hiking trails that lead up to great heights providing spectacular views.  The Low population of the state and need of a 4x4 to get to some of the locations make you feel like you are isolated on different planets as the landscape change from red, white, and blue. Not to mention the incredible contrast of beautiful green trees against the red sandstone Canyons, low light pollution at night, and the unique rock formations this place really makes for a photographers dream.

The Beehive State

You might think its nicknamed after the states honey production but you would be wrong as Utah's Production of honey is just average.  It was nicknamed this based off the fact that the Utah community works together tirelessly, much like a beehive, for the benefit of everyone as a whole.   When the mormons first settled here the region was not very hospitable.  They abandon their personal aspirations and worked together to build a strong community.  Beehives have even made their way into the architecture of Utahs state buildings, Sculptures, and monuments.

Traveling in Utah

Traveling through Utah has been an incredible experience.  The change in landscape throughout the state is very impressive! From isolated deserts, colorful rainbow mountains, impressive canyons, salt flats, to mature forests.  Oh! and don't forget about Hot Springs!  There is definitely something here for every traveler.  The Diverse collection of natural wonders throughout the state has led to the creation of five national parks in the state. Only Alaska and California have more national parks than Utah.  Utah also holds The Four Corners which is made up of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico and is the only spot in the United States that you can stand in 4 states at once. Utahs speed limit on the highway is also 80mph which was very helpful traveling across the state.
